Situated on the village green and within the grounds of the impressive Grade 1 listed St. James the Great Church, It is only a short stroll to the village pub at The Ostrich. Church Cottage is a lovely traditional brick & flint Norfolk cottage in the heart of Castle Acre. It has been beautifully renovated, furnished & decorated to a high standard with character oak beams throughout, a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove, kitchen/diner and two lovely en-suite bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) on the first floor. Carpeted throughout and with Norfolk pamment tiles in hallway & kitchen.

Ground Floor
Kitchen/Diner: Fitted kitchen with lots of cupboard space. Well appointed with Electric Rangemaster cooker, Dishwasher, Refrigerator & Freezer, Microwave, Washing machine/Dryer and Iron & ironing board. Leading off the kitchen is an oak dining table with four chairs. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and gadgets for the keen cook.
Sitting Room: Comfortable oak beamed sitting room with settee and 2 armchairs with wood burning stove and inglenook fireplace. Flat screen TV, sky plus & DVD player. Books & games are available.
First Floor
Bed 1, twin or double bedded with gabled ceiling, en-suite roll top bath, shower within and toilet & wash basin, built in wardrobes, TV and radiator and lovely views over the churchyard.
Bed 2, standard double bed, with en-suite shower room, toilet & wash basin, built in wardrobe, TV and radiator also with beautiful views over the churchyard.
Outside
Enclosed cottage garden with patio table & chairs. Barbeque provided. Parking on street is available just yards from the cottage, on Stocks Green.
Quality Bed Linen and duvets and towels provided. Bedrooms equipped with hairdryers.

Well behaved dogs allowed in cottage downstairs only. No extra charge.
Welcome pack of groceries can be provided at cost to your requirements.
Guests are welcome to have breakfast in the B&B by arrangement and at cost.
Please see tariff for full weeks letting and part weeks of a minimum of 3 days and subject to availability. Payment can be made by Credit Card, Cheque or Cash. A deposit of 20% is required at time of reservation. Full payment is required 4 weeks before date of reservation.
Cancellation Policy
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance.
If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it, less a 10% administration fee.
Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover this cost.
Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
